DJ Corps is an Online Membership Community that brings Disc Jockeys from all realms together in one place to Review Music. DJ Corps Members work together, much like membership in a Record Pool. Like a record pool, DJ Corps Members will have access to a library of music to use For Promotional Use Only, provided by artists that are seeking airplay and feedback on their music. Unlike a record pool, the DJ Corps Members are compensated to listen to the artist's music, provide a quality ranking and a brief written review... and provide that feedback Directly to the Artist with no intermediaries!
DJ Corps DJs come from the ranks of Commercial, College and Public Broadcast Radio Stations, Internet Radio Streams and Live Dance Clubs all across the United States (and parts of the World too). Many of our "Founding Spinners" are prominent Tastemakers that report to industry recognized trade magazines and websites. As a DJ Corps Member, our reviewers make their expertise accessable to recording artists, and share their views among other members of our DJ community. Working together, DJ Corps members have the ability to recognize rising talent and great new songs, and see to it that quality music gets a fair opportunity to be heard.
For the Recording Artist, this means that Your Song is reviewed by a Qualified DJ, vetted by DJ Corps to have proper influence and relevance within their area of expertise, at their particular club, radio station or internet stream. DJ Corps Members are targeted by matching genres with Your Music, making sure that each DJ reviewing your music, is expert in their particular genre. Each DJ will listen to your song, provide you with a Ranking based on a 1 to 5 scale. Each DJ will also provide up to a 120 character Written Review of your music, that can be expressed thorough your Social Media accounts. Finally, each DJ will also express either a desire to play your music on their air, or let you know the decision to pass on your song and the reason why.
At no time is anyone receiving compensation for airtime of any material reviewed. The membership of DJ Corps are merely acting as a test marketing service as a courtesy to interested parties within the music industry. Any airtime received is strictly based on the quality of the material reviewed.
